Webinar 5th of March 2019

5th IVA Webinar. March 5th 2019; 16:00 -17:00 (CET)

The Impact of Brexit on VAT

As a consequence of Brexit, especially in a “no deal” scenario, businesses will need to consider its impact on VAT. As VAT derives from EU Directives, several very important changes to the applicable VAT rules will occur.

A hard Brexit will have significant implications for the existing simplifications for EU companies like call-off stocks, chain transactions or triangulations. Distance sellers and companies delivering goods and services between the UK and the EU territory and vice versa will face important changes as well. Cross border VAT refunds will also be an area of concern.

These and other topics will be discussed during the webinar. As always, you will have time for questions to our speakers.

The webinar will be conducted by Ruth Corkin, (The VAT Practitioners Group) and by Fernando Matesanz (Spanish VAT Services Asesores, Spain)
