The VAT authorities have granted an extension of the deadline for the submission of the VAT returns, originally due 20th April 2021. The Belgian office informed that the deadline for the submission of the VAT return of Q1/2021 or of the VAT return of April 2021 is extended until 3rd May 2021. However, the IC-listing if any must have been submitted on 20th April 2021 and in case VAT is due, this must also must have been paid by 20th April. Interest will be raised for late payment of the VAT due.
